Refugee youth want to learn, work, and build a future.
But the digital skills that open those doors are not always within reach, and confidence to use them takes practice.
Bridges for Hope, a youth-led non-profit, sees a way to change that through steady, hands-on learning.
RISE is their Refugee Digital Skills Course, a continuation of the first batch under the "Access to Learning and Growth Opportunities" pillar. Over three months, refugee youth work through three modules. Digital Foundations covers Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, and AI tools including Edbot.ai. Career Readiness covers CV writing, LinkedIn, credential recognition, and mock virtual interviews. Digital Marketing covers marketing fundamentals and content marketing. RISE also runs the Edbot.ai Online Campaign, producing multilingual content and partnering with grassroots refugee-serving organizations to introduce Edbot.ai within the refugee community.
We are proud to announce RISE: Refugee Digital Skills Course, founded by Marwah Zanirah Aryantha, as one of the finalists of Solve for Change Season 1 Round 2! 🎉
The goal is simple. Give refugee youth the skills and the confidence to apply them, so more learning and growth can follow.
