Introducing the selected finalists of Solve for Change Season 1 Round 2. Their work spans early literacy and self-directed learning, girls' participation in STEM, menstrual and mental health education, research skills and workplace readiness, plus circular economy ventures that turn plastic waste into school fees and organic waste into agricultural value. Some reach displaced and refugee learners, some reach underserved children and families, and some build practical livelihoods for coastal youth and female heads of households.

These are people who have looked closely at a real problem in their own community and chosen to build a working answer to it. They come from different countries and different fields, but they share a commitment to learners who are too often left out. Together they show what practical, locally rooted education can look like.
