Dhenia Putri Nuraini
Organic food waste piles up every day, and most of it goes nowhere useful.
But I-Gre-En sees that waste as raw material, and it sees persons with disabilities as the people who can put it to work.
Founded by Dhenia Putri Nuraini, I-Gre-En is a circular green economy venture. It uses Black Soldier Fly larvae to break down organic food waste and turn it into agricultural products that hold economic value.
The people doing that work are persons with disabilities, and the venture is built around them.
We are proud to announce I-Gre-En as one of the finalists of Solve for Change Season 1 Round 2! 🎉
Food waste becomes something worth selling, and the people who make it happen are part of the green economy.
