In Indonesia, formal education does not always reach the learners and communities who need it most.
But Kurio Academy sees room for a third space, one that sits alongside school rather than replacing it.
Kurio Academy is a youth-driven non-profit that puts underserved learners and communities first. It gives children the support, the curiosity, and the space to build self-directed learning skills they can carry for life.
Its current program, Kurio Rangers, is a community-based learning program with more than 320 active members. The activities are child-centered, inquiry-driven, and progress-oriented.

A place to be curious, to learn at your own pace, and to keep learning long after the lesson ends. That is what Kurio Academy is building for children across Indonesia.
